Founded in 1989, WTI calls Tuscaloosa, Alabama home. Located 55 miles Southwest of Birmingham, Tuscaloosa is a vibrant city home to many of the nation's leading manufacturing companies. A center for commerce, culture and the University of Alabama, the city maintains a sense of community. Tuscaloosa has kept up with the changing economy and continues to provide for our citizens an environment for growth and stability to our area.
WTI is a flatbed carrier servicing primarily the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and East Coast. Our main shipments consist of roofing, building materials, and all types of iron and steel products. WTI is proud to be a major carrier in the flatbed industry. Our focus is on making sure our customers are taken care of by providing the "Absolute Best Service."
For over 21 years, WTI has fostered long standing relationships with many of the nation's leading manufactures. Those relationships have been built on "Doing What We Say We'll Do" and delivering freight safely and on time. Dedicated to top-flight service and professionalism, WTI Transport has been rewarded by its commitments. The company has grown from a small 40-truck operation in the 1980s to over 275 power units today. WTI has thrived much like the city it is proud to call home.
